Social Interruption
Started by myself and Jessica Norgard, Social Interruption began as the Tuesday Improv' group. The groups first project was Centi-People, a walk about street performance seen below. This performance/intervention can be seen as a testimony when a large group of people (nine in all) want nothing nothing other than collaboration and experimentation. The energy of the group was amazing, we travelled around England 'performing' at festivals such as Ventnor Fringe and Truro City of Lights, and also intervening in places we had not been invited. The group sadly split up in our second year at university. The pressure of so many people, so many voices and ideas became too much and we all decided that Centi-people would be our one and only show together.
