Workshops
Over the course of our degree we have been involved in and created workshops for students at secondary school. These workshops for us are not so much structured as teacher pupil relationship but rather as equal collaborators in the spaces that we inhabit for that time. We have foudn though our practice that making site-specific work requires a different way of perceiving and ways of thinking. The site requires you to find your own personnel experience of it, and in that way there is no right or wrong answers. In this way, we would work with the students devising together. Below are the current workshops we are running.
(Please note, the crab picking workshop is not a performance workshop, it is an hour long session where we instruct the participants how to pick a crab).
If you would like to speak to us about having a workshop please find our email on the contact page.
A Waste of Space: Performance Workshop.
An investigation into liminal spaces of the town where you live, those spaces no-one notices. Find out what it means to waste space, why it is wasted in the first place and how we might prepare it to be used again. This is an opportunity to gain a unique insight into the relationship between people and place, preparation and waste.
